Affirmations w/c 6.12.09

Sunday

Floating on a stream of unconditional thankfulness, I am lucky in everything. "Yes," says my soul, and the forces of mind and creation unite to bring amazing good fortune to my home, my heart, and my life.

Monday

Floating on a stream of unconditional thankfulness, I close my eyes, bow my head, and give the greatest of thanks for these exquisite connections! I thank you, Spirit, for all these gracious friends whose loving support keeps me buoyed even when I doubt. I share their air, their moon, their autumn.

Tuesday

Floating on a stream of unconditional thankfulness, I shed that which has served its purpose. I know something greater, happier, and healthier automatically replaces whatever is gone. Spirit provides.

Wednesday

Floating on a stream of unconditional thankfulness, my spirit expands beyond my body and I flow in formlessness. I am all that is known and unknown. I am that which is seen and unseen. I AM.

Thursday

Floating on a stream of unconditional thankfulness, I use my inner awareness to create miracles. I graciously accept this divine gift and use it with enthusiasm and joy!

Friday

Floating on a stream of unconditional thankfulness, I love the world around me and in me. Life is good, and I eat it up, speak it out, and rest in a nest of love.

Saturday

Floating on a stream of unconditional thankfulness, I glance over my shoulder and give thanks for all the experiences that have created me to be just the way I am. Spirit and I wisely use them to propel me toward my divine purpose.

I thank You God most for this amazing day,

Let nothing disturb thee,

Nothing afright thee;

All things are passing;

God never changeth. St Theresa of Avila

For the leaping greenly spirits of trees

and a blue true dream of sky,

and for everything which is natural

which is infinite

which is yes. e.e cummings

IN ALL THINGS ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI

It was easy to love God in all that was beautiful.

The lessons of deeper knowledge, through, instructed me to embrace God in all things.

THAT LIVES IN US RUMI

If you put your hands on this oar with me,

they will never harm another, and they will come to find

they hold everything you want.

If you put your hands on this oar with me, they would no longer

Lift anything to your mouth that might wound your precious land – that sacred earth that is your body.

If you put your soul against this oar with me,

The power that made the universe will enter your sinew from a source not outside your limbs, but from a holy realm that lives in us.

Exuberant is existence, time a husk.

When the moment cracks open, ecstasy leaps out and devours space;

Love goes mad with the blessings, like my words give.

Why lay yourself on the torturer’s rack of the past and future?

The mind that tries to shape tomorrow beyond its capacities will find no rest.

Be kind to yourself, dear – to our innocent follies.

Forget any sounds or touch you knew that did not help you dance.

You will come to see that all evolves us.

If you put your heart against the earth with me, in serving

Every creature, our Beloved will enter you from our sacred realm

And we will be, we will be happy.

As you are, so is the world.

STOP BEING SO RELIGIOUS

What

Do sad people have in

Common?

It seems

They have built a shrine

To the past

And often go there

And do a strange wail and

Worship.

What is the beginning of

Happiness?

It is to stop being

So religious

Like That.
